There are a lot of reasons why it is never a good idea to date an employee. A lot of people will end up falling in love with an employee. It is natural to find yourself attracted to somebody at your job. This is where you will see them at their best and when they are always on. This is something that can make it very difficult to not get tempted. However, you will find that the cons often outweigh the pros.
Sex Life
Details of your sex life could be made known to your fellow employees or even your employer, what if you and your date went dogging or to a swingers club, if you broke up your date may decide to blow the whistle and depending on the nature of your job it could result in your employment being terminated, it is always best to keep your private life to yourself.
Separate
It can be nearly impossible for you to be able to keep your personal and public relationships separated from each other. You will more than likely end up showing favoritism to this person and could end up getting into a lot of trouble with the other employees.
Private
It is difficult to be able to have any type of privacy in your relationship whenever you are dating somebody that you work with. You will find that it won’t be long before everybody that you work with knows. This is when things can get messy as having too many people that closely involved with your love life can end up tearing it apart.
Break Ups
If you and this person break up you are still going to have to see each other every single day. This can make it very difficult to be able to go to work and focus on your job. It will not only be awkward for you and your ex but more than likely for everybody that worked there and knew.
