It is natural to find yourself attracted to somebody at your job. This is where you will see them at their best and when they are always on. Details of your sex life could be made known to your fellow employees or even your employer, what if you and your date went dogging or to a swingers club, if you broke up your date may decide to blow the whistle and depending on the nature of your job it could result in your employment being terminated, it is always best to keep your private life to yourself.

Separate

It can be nearly impossible for you to be able to keep your personal and public relationships separated from each other. You will more than likely end up showing favoritism to this person and could end up getting into a lot of trouble with the other employees.

Private

It is difficult to be able to have any type of privacy in your relationship whenever you are dating somebody that you work with. You will find that it won’t be long before everybody that you work with knows. This is when things can get messy as having too many people that closely involved with your love life can end up tearing it apart.

Break Ups

If you and this person break up you are still going to have to see each other every single day. This can make it very difficult to be able to go to work and focus on your job. It will not only be awkward for you and your ex but more than likely for everybody that worked there and knew.

If you want to hide your relationship with another employee from employers, then there are a few different things that you can try to do. Most often, companies will have strict policies about inner office dating. This is why you will need to try to keep this information private from the people that are your boss so that you can keep your job and your relationship.

Don’t Tell Anybody

You cannot tell anybody that you work with that you are dating this person. Not even your best friend in the office. You will find that no matter how much you trust them they still may end up spilling the beans. It just takes one person to know before the entire office finds out and word gets around all the way up to your boss.

Don’t Act Differently

It is so important that you and your partner do not act or treat each other any differently than you did before you began to date. Even when you try to act even less interested in each other you can end up looking suspicious. This means you need to make sure that you do not flirt, excessively talk or show any PDA while in the office.

Be Careful How You Show Up

You want to make sure that you don’t make a rookie mistake and show up for work in the same car. You also will want to try to make sure that you don’t show up at the same time for work as this can look odd even if you are in different vehicles.

When it comes to dating other employees, there is some advice that you will need to follow. No matter where you work you may end up finding yourself having an office romance or fling. This is something that can end up getting very messy if you are not careful. This is why it is a good idea for you to keep a few things in mind.

Rules

Know what the policy is on inner office dating before you get too comfortable with your potential partner. You will find that a lot of companies frown on dating your fellow employees so you may want to either keep it quiet or find somebody else. If you take the relationship more seriously than your job, then consider transferring or going to another company.

Professional

It is important that you are both able to stay professional with each other whenever you are at work. This is especially important if one of you holds more power than the other. You do not want the other employees to get upset and think that you are playing favorites with the person that you are dating.

Privacy

Keep your private life private. This means that no matter what fights you  are having or how much you like each other you need to leave those feelings at the door. You should also try to keep your relationship tidbits to yourself. You don’t need everybody knowing what he or she wears to bed or what they eat for breakfast in the morning. Just try to resist the urge to talk about them too much.
